Our Hosted Infrastructure Service provides a fully supported core technology platform at a simple monthly fee with all the benefits of our managed service, but the infrastructure is located in our data centres. This gives you peace of mind that your systems are being fully monitored by industry experts.

Server

The servers are virtualised and fully configured for your environment and they are provisioned with File, Print and Backup services and each user is allocated space on the server for document storage. Applications are deployed from the server automatically.

Backup

The data centre has an enterprise backup solution that creates regular backups to disk which are then backed up to tape using a robotic tape library. The tapes in the tape library are regularly rotated and stored at a secure off-site tape storage facility. As an optional additional service permanent off site archive tapes can be kept for ad-hoc, weekly, monthly or yearly backups.

Software Distribution and Security Updates

Having hosted infrastructure provides a comprehensive software distribution platform to distribute the operating system and applications to Windows PC’s in your environment:

- Rapid and consistent deployment of “standard” images to PCs.

- Automated deployment of essential security updates and antivirus software.

- Automated deployment of individual applications and updates to Windows computers.

- Software and Hardware monitoring and inventory collection.
